TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE

TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE (東京女子流; Tokyo Joshi Ryuu) is a four-member Japanese idol/dance and vocal group under avex. They originally debuted as an idol group.

The group was created in 2009 and was publicly revealed on January 1, 2010.

On January 6, 2015, they announced that they would cease to be an idol group starting April 2015. Their last release as an idol group was the single Stay with me, released on March 3, 2015.

On June 10, 2017, they were announced as one of the performers at Tokyo Idol Festival 2017. They said that the “artist declaration” had narrowed their scope of activities, and that the group could now be regarded as both an idol and an artist group.^[1] Their first release after this change was the mini album PERIOD. BEST ~Otona ni Narun Dakara~ / PERIOD. BEST ~Kimete Ii yo Watashi no Koto~, which featured re-recordings of some of their previous idol hits but also their latest hits.
